¿DID YOU KNOW THAT…?

• The sphere Spaceship Earth, icon of the park, is 54.8 meters high, 7000 tons weight and contains an attraction inside. Its polyhedra are designed so that rainwater seeps into its structure and is led through pipes to the World Showcase lake.

• Great Britain Pavilion represents 4 different periods from Tudor to Victorian times and has replicas of Hampton Court Palace, Anne Hataway’s country house, Hyde Park and buildings from the Yorkshire area.

• The Canadian mountain firs spent 3 years adjusting to the Florida climate before being brought into the park. Each tree has a substitute, in case one has survival problems it is quickly replaced.

• The French pavilion recreates the “Belle Epoque” of the late 1800s.
